At Vast Gebit In 1 Dag we can in principle apply the veneers in one day. To achieve the desired result for you, it often requires two visits to the dentist.
During the first visit, a color sample card will be used to determine which color facing suits you best. Of course, you don't want the facing to be a different color than the rest of your teeth! If necessary, some enamel will then be ground off your tooth so that the veneer will fit properly on your tooth. Based on an impression of your tooth, a suitable veneer is produced in the dental laboratory. During the second visit, the facing is placed in your mouth. This is completely painless.
Maintaining one or more veneers is of course just as important as maintaining the rest of your teeth.
A facing is made to last for years, provided you handle it with care. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and be careful not to put too much pressure on the tooth with a veneer. Habits such as grinding your teeth or biting your nails can also damage the facing. It is recommended to also floss well. By following these tips, you can enjoy your teeth for years to come, and also smile broadly!
